Redirecting
Dimension: 200*30*10cm
Mediums: Stones, electronic fans, PET coated aluminum film
2020
Description:Redirecting, a wind-controlled installation act as a living geometric presence nested within a space, exploring the way wind travels over a continuous metal surface. This kinetic sculpture consists of two parts, two natural stones as anchor points on both sides and one aluminum coated film in the middle, with another two electrical fans mounted on two opposing walls. Redirecting creates a continuity and offering a dialog between two materials, exhibition space and visitors who experience them, rethinking the expression and incorporation of visible and invisible elements. Uncertainty and change were intentionally built into this, giving it energy and a level of interactivity and allowing the dynamic environment to turn the sculpture into more than the just of its parts.

Dimension: 30*103*205cm
Medium: Mirrored stainless steel, stone
2020
Description: The Untitled sculpture emphasizes the relationship between material form, spatial conditions and psychological changes. The work is deformed under the action of external force and space condition, and in the meantime brings the viewer a sense of insecurity and tension if the external force is removed. The mirror reflection, taking the surrounding space into the work, it acts as intermediary and trying to find a balance between industrial and natural materials.

Birthmark
Birthmark
Dimension: 80*100cm
Medium: Stone dust, acrylic paint
2018
Description: The idea of creating Birthmark is a reference to the shape (map) of artist's hometown, Chongwu town in Fujian, a coastal city in China and well-known for stone sculpture. Stone dust is something left behind by the sculptor after carving stone and it is almost invisible but truly exists everywhere. The artist overlapped layers of stone dust day by day to make a cast of his hometown, which also implies the shape of a birthmark, something people carry from birth.

Sympathy
Sympathey
Dimension: 400*400*10cm
Medium: White marble
2022
Description: Four white marble placed at a specific angle to form a cycle. The broken stones (leftover stones after cutting and polishing) are then collected and reused to fill the concave negative space, each piece echoing with the others, and allowing the whole piece to interact with each ones in a neat and broken, reorganised and integrated, ordered and disordered way. The auience are welcomed to walk in-between, the gaps leading direction for visitors to choose, my intention is to let every viewer in the most relaxed state, and see a different world than usual. Here, the world has a special pattern, and is being decomposed into the most basic elements, showing a basic state behind the complicated world.

Melting Project
Melting Project
Dimension: Varies sizes
Medium: Watercolour on paper
2018
Description: Melting project is a series of ephemeral paintings created by placing a coloured block of ice on paper and allowing it to melt at room temperature. The ice will slowly transform from a solid state to liquid and eventually evaporate. As a result, an abstract image forms once the ice is fully melted. Chance and natural process are employed in this process.

Medium: Black Charcoal, White Mable
Dimension: L300 W42 H73cm
2019
Description: Based on the concept of Mono-ha, Dialogue explores and designs two kinds of natural materials with related attributes. This design not only connects objects with objects, objects with people, but also act as spatial intermediary, the coexistence between materials and surrounding space. Dialogue also reveals unusual forms of stone and wood that commonly neglected and abandoned by us. The core motive of this work was the search for sculpture functions not art but in a design context as well as sculpture relationship to furniture.

Geometric Art
Untitled
Dimension: varies sizes
Medium: Black paint on acrylic
2018
Description: Untitled works are studies in the simplicity and beauty of geometry. As explorations of space the sculpture are built up into three dimensional models out of a two dimensional panes-interplay between the sculptures and their shadows add a dynamic layer to the work. The shapes are cut into specific sizes on purpose, the outer shapes are carefully arranged to reveal and emphasise the cut-out shape, encouraging the viewers to consider the interaction between the void and the object of the piece.

Animal Pills
Animal Pills
Medium: Medical tablets
2017
Description: “Animal pills” questions whether medical breakthroughs should be dependent on the lives of animals?
The use of animals in medical research is ethically flawed, and the lives of animals are slowly taken away by human beings. This installation is going to repeat the painful procedure in an artistic way and it can only be carried out with the help of the audience, who are welcome to pick up an animal pill and put it into water.
The surface of pills will be ‘eaten’ (dissolve), and the water will eventually become a saturated solution. This dissolving process is going to be slow, NOT fast and it will hit a point where the pills cannot dissolve anymore.

Lie
Lie
Duration: 37 seconds
2017
Description: This short video represents how a liar behaves against his own moral principles and surrenders to his ego when he is getting over-confident and comfortable with his lies. The sound of the balloon inflating also suggests a sense of nervousness and trembling when he is telling lies. Small lies often balloon into larger ones as the untruths build up over time. However, time will inevitably uncover dishonesty and lies.

Description: The Untitled work is a study in the simplicity, beauty of geometry and reflection. As explorations of space the sculpture are built up into three-dimensional model out of repeated mirrored cubes. The colored papers are arranged at the inner circle on purpose to create infinity and kaleidoscope visual experience. As the viewer walks around the work, the reflective surfaces not only produce complex and shifting interactions between the surrounding space and the spectator, but also blending into the environment and becoming part of it.

Materiality-Light Canvas
Materiality-Light Canvas
Dimension: 300*200cm
Medium: Glass, water-based pigments and artificial lights
2016
Description: Light Canvas project is a experimentation that explores the transparency and reflection of glass as well as the organic behavior of water-based pigments, and it undergoes natural artmaking process. The artist established causes and condition by which images are influenced as they, themselves, more or less paint themselves. Moreover, he reduced any too obvious man-made effects and allowing the water-based pigments emerge naturally on glass, more like a natural product growth out of contemporary art, something beyond artist's control. The coloured and transluent watermarks are projected on wall for viewers to mediate-connecting art with natural law. By simple joining 12 glasses together, a wall of colored shadows is formed.

Kinetic Sculpture-Motion, Pattern
Motion, Pattern
Medium: Wood
Dimension:L200*W20*H102cm
2020
Description: This kitnetic sculpture has been incorporating movement of colour and pattern into art. This has been partly to explore the possibilities of drawing and leaving traces, partly to introduce the element of time, partly to trigger personal emotion through physical interaction with sculpture.
Viewers are welcome to move the ball and observe how the ball is travelling within the groove. Both shape and colour become blurry as the ball is in high speed movement, this makes very difficult for eyes to capture what is on it; This simple pendulum movement catches and renders the ball as a frozen, distinct moments when it reaches its peak points on both ends.
